Republican Texas U.S. Representative Monica De La Cruz made a false statement.
In March, Cruz falsely wrote, "Last night, the Republican Party celebrated a brave boy’s dream come true after surviving a brain tumor, while the Democrat Party looked like they wandered in from the set of Harry Potter."
